Marcel Kuijsten
Marcel Kuijsten is the Founder and Executive Director of the Julian Jaynes Society, dedicated to promoting and expanding Julian Jaynes's groundbreaking theory of consciousness and the bicameral mind.
He has edited and published four books on the subject: Gods, Voices, and the Bicameral Mind; Reflections on the Dawn of Consciousness; The Julian Jaynes Collection; and Conversations on Consciousness and the Bicameral Mind.
Jaynes's theory, which Kuijsten has championed, gained broader cultural attention through its feature in the HBO hit series Westworld.
Kuijsten also manages the Julian Jaynes Society's online community and mailing list at julianjaynes.org.
