Zukiswa Wanner
Born in Zambia to a South African father and Zimbabwean mother, Zukiswa Wanner is a prolific author, essayist, and literary advocate.
She has written several novels, children's books, and co-edited short story collections spanning African and Asian voices.
Wanner contributed to a global theatrical project responding to the King James Bible, performed at Westminster Abbey.
She co-authored biographies and co-founded ReadSA, a campaign promoting African literature in South African schools.
A frequent participant in international literary festivals, she has also conducted writing workshops across Africa and Europe, establishing herself as a significant voice in contemporary African literature.
