Alan Sitomer
Alan Lawrence Sitomer is a California Teacher of the Year award winner, educator, author, and nationally renowned keynote speaker specializing in engaging underperforming students.
He founded The Writer's Success Academy and has worked as both an inner-city high school English teacher and a professor in the Graduate School of Education at Loyola Marymount University.
Sitomer has authored 16 books spanning hard-hitting young adult novels, including Caged Warrior, Homeboyz, The Hoopster, and Hip-Hop High School, as well as warm children's picture books.
He lives in Los Angeles, where he recently completed the screenplay adaptation of Caged Warrior.
