Anne Sebba launched her writing career at the BBC World Service before studying Modern European History at King's College, London.
She became Reuters' first female Graduate Trainee, working as a foreign correspondent in London and Rome.
After relocating to New York in 1975, she transitioned to freelance work as a journalist, biographer, cruise lecturer, and broadcaster, becoming an accredited Nadfas lecturer.
Active in writers' organizations, she chaired the Society of Authors' Management Committee from 2013–2015.
Her bestselling biography of Wallis Simpson was based on 15 newly discovered secret letters, followed by Les Parisiennes, published in 2016.
