Arthur Robert Firstenberg was an American author and activist who dedicated his life to researching electromagnetic radiation and its effects on human health.
As the founder of the Cellular Phone Task Force, he campaigned independently against the proliferation of wireless technology.
Firstenberg himself suffered from electrical sensitivity, which motivated his extensive research.
He authored Microwaving Our Planet: The Environmental Impact of the Wireless Revolution in 1997 and his landmark work, The Invisible Rainbow: A History of Electricity and Life, published in 2020, which extensively documents the historical and scientific relationship between electricity and biological health.
