Emily Falk is a professor of communication, psychology, and marketing at the University of Pennsylvania, where she serves as vice dean of the Annenberg School for Communication.
She directs the Communication Neuroscience Lab and the Climate Communication Division of the Annenberg Public Policy Center.
Her research focuses on understanding how people change, how information spreads, and what makes messages influential.
Using fMRI studies and brain imaging technology, Falk investigates the neural basis of decision-making, examining how value systems, self-relevance, and social context influence behavior and choices.
She lives in Philadelphia.
