Reginald Horsman
Reginald Horsman was Distinguished Professor of History Emeritus at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where he taught from 1958 until his retirement in 1999.
He earned his BA and MA from the University of Birmingham in 1952 and 1955, respectively, and completed his PhD at Indiana University in Bloomington in 1958.
Throughout his distinguished career, Horsman received numerous accolades including the Kiekhofer Teaching Award in 1961, a prestigious Guggenheim Fellowship in 1965, and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Alumni Award for Teaching Excellence in 1995, recognizing his significant contributions to historical scholarship and education.
