Hannah Lillith Assadi is a novelist and poet who earned her MFA in fiction from Columbia University School of the Arts, having previously completed her undergraduate degree there as well.
During her time at Columbia, she distinguished herself academically, graduating summa cum laude and receiving the prestigious Philolexian Prize for her poetry and fiction.
Raised in Arizona, she now resides in Brooklyn, New York.
Her debut novel, Sonora, established her literary voice, and Paradiso 17, inspired by her father's life as a Palestinian exile, further demonstrates her ability to explore themes of displacement, identity, and belonging with lyrical depth and emotional complexity.
