Jaco Jacobs
Jaco Jacobs is a prolific South African author who has published over 180 books for children and young adults.
He began writing at a young age and published his first youth novel at 18.
Known for his humorous style, Jacobs has sold over a million copies of his books and has won numerous awards, including 29 ATKV Children's Book Awards.
He has also translated over 300 children's books into Afrikaans.
Two of his novels have been adapted into feature films, and some of his works have been published internationally.
Jacobs lives in Bloemfontein with his family and pets, and is also a journalist and long-distance runner.
