T.R. Napper is a multi-award-winning Australian author who has won the prestigious Aurealis Award four times.
He holds a creative writing doctorate focused on noir, cyberpunk, and Asian modernity—making him a "Doctor of Cyberpunk." Before writing, Napper worked as a diplomat and aid worker throughout Southeast Asia for a decade, living in Hanoi's Old Quarter, which inspired his debut novel 36 Streets.
His short fiction appears in Asimov's, The Magazine of Fantasy & Science Fiction, and other publications.
