Tony Birch is an award-winning Australian author and Indigenous storyteller.
His novel Ghost River won the Victorian Premier's Literary Award for Indigenous Writing, while Blood was shortlisted for the Miles Franklin Award.
In 2017, he received the Patrick White Literary Award.
Beyond novels, Birch has published Shadowboxing and three short story collections: Father's Day, The Promise, and Common People.
He is a Senior Research Fellow at Victoria University and frequently contributes to ABC radio while appearing at writers' festivals.
