Belle Burden
Belle Burden is an American author and attorney based in New York City, where she lives with her children.
A graduate of Harvard College and NYU School of Law, she has dedicated much of her legal career to pro bono immigration work, advocating for vulnerable individuals facing deportation.
Her writing has appeared in The New York Times, including a widely read "Modern Love" essay that preceded her debut memoir.
Descended from a prominent and wealthy family — her grandmother was the celebrated socialite Babe Paley — Burden brings both literary talent and a privileged perspective to her deeply personal storytelling.
