James Gordon Lindsay was a central figure in mid-20th century American Pentecostalism, shaped from childhood by the healing revival movement in Zion, Illinois.
Influenced by prominent Pentecostal leaders Charles Fox Parham and John G. Lake, he began preaching at eighteen.
He rose to national prominence as campaign manager for evangelist William Branham and founded Voice of Healing magazine in 1948, platforming major revivalists of the era.
Lindsay later established Christ for the Nations Institute in 1971, leading it until his death in 1973, leaving a lasting legacy in Pentecostal and Charismatic ministry worldwide.
