June Hur (허주은) is a New York Times and Indie bestselling, Edgar Award-winning author specializing in YA historical mysteries and romances set in Korea's Joseon dynasty.
Born in South Korea, she spent her formative years across the USA, Canada, and South Korea before studying History and Literature at the University of Toronto.
Her works include The Silence of Bones, The Forest of Stolen Girls, The Red Palace, and A Crane Among Wolves.
Her writing has been featured in Forbes, NPR, The New York Times, CBC, and KBS. She previously worked at Toronto Public Library and currently resides in Toronto with her family.
Her next novel, Adoration, a Jane Austen homage, releases spring 2026.
