Niklas Natt och Dag
Niklas Natt och Dag, whose surname translates to "Night and Day," made his debut with the acclaimed historical novel 1793.
He holds a unique connection to Swedish history as a member of Sweden's oldest surviving noble family.
Beyond writing, he is a multi-instrumentalist, playing guitar, mandolin, violin, and the Japanese bamboo flute known as shakuhachi.
His literary work reflects deep engagement with Sweden's past, bringing 18th-century Stockholm vividly to life across his Bellman Noir trilogy.
He currently resides in Stockholm with his wife and two sons.
