Victoria Redel
Victoria Redel is a multi-genre American author and professor whose newest novel, I Am You, publishes September 30, 2025, through SJP Lit/Zando.
A first-generation American of Belgian, Romanian, Egyptian, Russian, and Polish descent, Redel was born in New York and holds degrees from Dartmouth College and Columbia University.
Her work includes four poetry collections, with Paradise being the most recent, and the novel Before Everything.
Her writing appears in prestigious publications including Granta, the New York Times, and NOON. Redel has received fellowships from the Guggenheim Foundation and National Endowment for the Arts, and teaches creative writing at Sarah Lawrence College while splitting time between Utah and New York City.
