I.F. Stone
Isidor Feinstein Stone, better known as I.F. Stone or Izzy Stone, was an American investigative journalist celebrated for his fearless, independent reporting.
He is best remembered for I.F. Stone's Weekly, a self-published newsletter he wrote, edited, and distributed himself, which earned recognition as one of the most significant works of American journalism, ranking 16th in a poll of fellow journalists compiling "The Top 100 Works of Journalism in the United States in the 20th Century." His work was characterized by rigorous research, a nonconformist perspective, and a commitment to challenging official narratives.
