Karl Ove Knausgård
Karl Ove Knausgård (b.
- is a Norwegian author who made his literary debut in 1998 with Out of the World, which became the first debut novel to win the Norwegian Critics' Prize.
He gained international fame for his six-volume autobiographical work My Struggle (Min Kamp), which became a publication phenomenon in Norway and worldwide.
Knausgård was nominated for the 2004 Nordic Council's Literature Prize and won the 2004 Norwegian Critics' Prize.
He is currently writing The Morning Star series, an ambitious multi-volume project exploring supernatural and philosophical themes with varying narrative structures and perspectives.
