Lara Prescott
Lara Prescott is an accomplished debut novelist whose first book, The Secrets We Kept, was published in September 2019 by Alfred A. Knopf and will be translated into 29 languages.
She received her MFA from the prestigious Michener Center for Writers at the University of Texas in 2018.
Growing up in Pennsylvania, she studied political science at American University in Washington, D.C., and worked as a political campaign consultant before turning to fiction writing.
Her literary work has appeared in notable publications including The Southern Review, The Hudson Review, Crazyhorse, and Tin House Flash Friday.
She currently resides in Austin, Texas.
