Valentine Goby
Valentine Goby was born in 1974 in France.
After graduating from Sciences Po (Institut d'études politiques de Paris), she spent three years in Asia, living in Hanoi and Manila.
Upon returning to France in 2002, she published her first novel, "La Note sensible," with Éditions Gallimard.
Since then, Goby has established herself as a literary author known for her evocative, poetic prose and ability to capture human experiences through vivid sensory detail.
Her works often explore themes of displacement, identity, and the relationship between individuals and their environments, as demonstrated in "L'île haute.".
