William G. Dever
William Gwinn Dever is a renowned American archaeologist and scholar specializing in the history of the Ancient Near East and biblical archaeology.
He served as Professor of Near Eastern Archaeology and Anthropology at the University of Arizona from 1975 to 2002 and is currently a Distinguished Professor at Lycoming College.
