Cupcake Brown overcame extraordinary adversity to become an attorney, author, and motivational speaker.
After experiencing prostitution, drugs, and gang life starting at age 11, she eventually chose recovery and transformation.
Despite lacking a high school diploma or GED, she graduated college magna cum laude and earned numerous scholastic awards, including the Judge Harold J. Haley Award for Exceptional Distinction.
She served as judicial extern to California Supreme Court Justice Joyce Kennard and U.S. District Court Judge Martin J. Jenkins.
After law school, she worked for one of the nation's 25 largest law firms and now speaks nationwide about resilience and possibility.
