Freya Sampson is a USA Today bestselling British author known for warm, character-driven fiction.
She studied history at Cambridge University before transitioning into television, where she worked as an executive producer creating documentaries on subjects ranging from the British royal family to everyday neighbourhood conflicts.
Her debut novel, The Last Chance Library, established her reputation for heartfelt storytelling, followed by The Lost Ticket (also published as The Girl on the 88 Bus).
