Pol Castellanos
Pol Castellanos Mayós was born in Barcelona on June 7, 1991.
He graduated in Literary Studies from the University of Barcelona and earned a master's degree in Creative Writing from Pompeu Fabra University.
He currently combines writing with teaching.
In 2019, he debuted with L'impostor de Viena (Estrella Polar), which won the Alba Prize for Best Fantasy Book for Young People in Catalan.
In 2021, his second novel L'assassina de Venècia (Estrella Polar) won the prestigious Ramon Muntaner Prize, establishing him as a notable voice in Catalan young adult literature.
