Thomas R. Weaver is a debut author and tech entrepreneur whose background in computer science informs his speculative fiction.
His startup was acquired by Just Eat Takeaway, and he's now building technology inspired by concepts from Artificial Wisdom, focusing on augmented reality communication.
After exiting his previous company in 2018-2019, he pursued his childhood dream of writing page-turners, inspired by Roald Dahl's BFG. He invests in early-stage startups and previously worked on transforming physical environments through technology.
Weaver's debut was originally self-published before being acquired by Penguin Random House for re-release through Del Rey and Bantam in 2025, with a sequel planned for 2026.
