Dexter Palmer lives in Princeton, New Jersey, and holds a Ph.D. in English Literature from Princeton University, where his dissertation focused on James Joyce, William Gaddis, and Thomas Pynchon.
He also organized the first academic conference on video games at an Ivy League institution.
His debut novel, The Dream of Perpetual Motion, was published by St. Martin's Press in 2010 and recognized by Kirkus Reviews as one of the year's best debuts.
His second novel, Version Control, was published by Pantheon Books in February 2016, exploring themes of time travel, technology, and contemporary society.
