Meg Mason is a New Zealand-born author based in Sydney, Australia, where she lives with her husband and two daughters.
She is best known for her internationally bestselling novel Sorrow and Bliss, which won the British Book Industry Book of the Year and was shortlisted for the Women's Prize, going on to be translated into more than 30 languages.
Before her fiction career, Mason worked as a journalist, starting at The Times of London and contributing to publications including Vogue, ELLE, GQ, and The New Yorker's Daily Shouts.
Her third novel, Sophie, Standing There, is set for worldwide publication in 2026.
