Manly P. Hall
Manly Palmer Hall was a Canadian-born prolific author of over 150 works on esoteric and mystical subjects, including The Secret Teachings of All Ages and An Encyclopedic Outline of Masonic, Hermetic, Qabbalistic Rosicrucian Symbolical Philosophy.
Notably, he wrote The Lost Keys of Freemasonry in 1923 at age twenty-one, decades before joining a Masonic lodge.
He formally became a Freemason in 1954 at Jewel Lodge No. 374 in California.
Hall founded the Philosophical Research Society in 1934 and was known for advocating world peace, cooperation, and respect for diverse spiritual beliefs throughout his career.
