Alison Irving is a Belfast-based author who lives outside the city with her husband, two children, and a cat.
She writes psychological thrillers and women's fiction, published by Bloodhound Books.
Her debut novel, Casual Cruelties, explored coercive control within marriage.
Its follow-up, Her Best Friend's Husband, can be read as a standalone and examines adultery and revenge rooted in past trauma.
A third installment, The Cheated Wife, is due in November 2025.
She has also written The Love We Chase, a standalone exploring love, friendship, and betrayal.
