Sarah Grunder Ruiz
Sarah Grunder Ruiz is a writer, educator, and karaoke enthusiast originally from South Florida.
She currently resides in Raleigh, North Carolina, with her husband and two children.
Ruiz holds an MFA in creative writing from North Carolina State University, where she also teaches First-Year Writing.
As an author, she brings a creative and passionate voice to her work, demonstrated in her book Last Call at the Local.
Balancing her roles as a teacher, writer, and family person, Ruiz continues to contribute meaningfully to the literary world while remaining rooted in her academic and personal communities in North Carolina.
