Tom Rachman is a British-Canadian author and journalist with an impressive international career.
Born in London and raised in Vancouver, he studied cinema at the University of Toronto and journalism at Columbia University.
He worked for The Associated Press as a foreign-news editor and correspondent, reporting from numerous countries including Italy, Egypt, and Japan.
He later edited at the International Herald Tribune in Paris while writing fiction.
His debut novel became a bestseller translated into 25 languages.
He has since published three additional works of fiction and contributes to major publications including The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal.
He currently lives in London.
