Howard Burton
Howard Burton holds a PhD in theoretical physics and an MA in philosophy, bringing a rare combination of scientific and humanistic expertise.
He served as the Founding Executive Director of Canada's Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics from 1999 to 2007, where he played a pivotal role in shaping both its research agenda and public outreach programmes, engaging teachers, students, and general audiences.
