J. V. Fesko earned his Ph.D. in theology from the University of Aberdeen in Scotland.
His academic interests span systematic theology, applied soteriology—including union with Christ, justification, sanctification, and the ordo salutis—as well as sixteenth- and seventeenth-century Reformed dogmatics and the integration of biblical and systematic theology.
He served as pastor of Geneva Orthodox Presbyterian Church from 1998 to 2009 and is currently Academic Dean and Professor of Systematic and Historical Theology at Westminster Seminary California.
He also serves as an ordained minister in the Orthodox Presbyterian Church.
