Kenneth John Atchity is an American producer, author, and literary manager with an extensive background in communications and storytelling.
Born on January 16, 1944, in Eunice, Louisiana, he grew up between Louisiana and Kansas City, Missouri.
Atchity has worn many professional hats, including editor, writing coach, brand consultant, speaker, and professor of comparative literature.
Dubbed a "story merchant" by a visiting ambassador, he leads several companies — including The Story Merchant and Atchity Entertainment International — that produce films, develop books, and consult writers on career strategies, working across television, cinema, and publishing platforms.
