Lish McBride
Lish McBride is a Seattle-area author best known for her funny and creepy Young Adult novels, including Hold Me Closer, Necromancer and Firebug.
She earned her BFA from Seattle University and her MFA from the University of New Orleans.
Her debut novel received an ALA Best Book for Young Adults designation, was a Morris Award finalist, and won the Scandiuzzi Children's Book Award.
Beyond writing, McBride works as a bookseller and event host at Third Place Books, a prominent independent bookstore near Seattle.
She has also published short stories in various anthologies and literary publications.
