Emily Rapp
Emily Rapp Black is an author born with a congenital defect that led to the amputation of her left foot at age four.
She has worn a prosthetic limb since then.
Rapp received her education from prestigious institutions, including Harvard University and the University of Texas at Austin.
She has been awarded numerous fellowships and recognitions for her writing, which has appeared in various publications.
Rapp has taught creative writing at several universities and workshops.
Currently, she serves as a professor of Creative Writing and Literature at the Santa Fe University of Art & Design in New Mexico.
