Juliet Barker
Juliet R. V. Barker is a British historian specializing in medieval history and literary biography.
Born in 1958, she was educated at Bradford Girls' Grammar School and Oxford University, where she earned her doctorate.
Barker served as curator and librarian of the Brontë Parsonage Museum from 1983 to 1989.
She has authored several acclaimed works on the Brontës, William Wordsworth, and medieval tournaments.
Recognized for her scholarship, Barker received an honorary Doctorate of Letters from the University of Bradford in 1999 and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature.
