Lara Love Hardin is a literary agent, author, and prison reform advocate.
Her memoir, The Many Lives of Mama Love, became a New York Times bestseller and 2024 Oprah Book Club pick.
With an MFA in creative writing, Hardin has collaborated on five New York Times bestsellers, including Designing Your Life and The Sun Does Shine.
Her work has earned her a Christopher Award and nominations for an NAACP Image Award and the Dayton Literary Peace Prize.
Hardin co-founded The Gemma Project, supporting incarcerated and formerly incarcerated women.
She resides in La Selva Beach, California.
