Max Brooks is a bestselling author known for his zombie-themed books, including The Zombie Survival Guide and World War Z. He has been dubbed "the Studs Terkel of zombie journalism." Brooks comes from a notable entertainment family, being the son of director Mel Brooks and actress Anne Bancroft.
