1. The Universe Speaks Through Signs

You don’t need a psychic medium to connect with the Other Side.

Constant communication. The universe, through God energy, spirit guides, and loved ones who have crossed, is constantly sending us signs and messages. These signs are a form of communication, a secret language available to everyone, not just psychics. The universe is always trying to guide us toward our highest path, and these signs are the way it does so.

Signs are everywhere. These messages can come in many forms, from seemingly random objects and events to meaningful coincidences and synchronicities. They are often simple or ordinary things that we might normally overlook, but when we are open to them, they can reveal a deeper meaning. Examples include:

• Finding a coin in an unusual place
• Seeing a specific animal repeatedly
• Hearing a particular song at a significant moment

Open your heart and mind. The key to receiving these signs is to be open to the possibility that they exist and to trust in the unseen order of things. By shifting our perception, we can begin to see the world as a magnificent tapestry of connections and signs, all woven into the ordinary fabric of life.

2. You Have a Team of Light Guiding You

Each of us has a Team of Light—a group of unseen helpers who work together to guide us to our highest path.

Unseen helpers. We are not alone on our journey. Each of us has a Team of Light on the Other Side, comprised of loved ones who have crossed, spirit guides, and God energy. This team is dedicated to guiding us toward our best and highest life path.

Three distinct forces:

• God energy: The all-encompassing force of love that connects us all.
• Spirit guides: Teachers, mentors, and protectors on the Other Side who have been assigned to us.
• Loved ones who have crossed: Family and friends who continue to watch over us and offer guidance.

Devotion and power. Our Teams of Light are devoted to making sure everything that happens in our lives is geared toward our soul's development. They are constantly sending us signs and messages, reaching out and trying to connect with us.

3. Co-Create Your Own Unique Language

Distinct from default signs are signs that we specifically request—objects, images, words or phrases, however unusual or obscure.

Personalized communication. While the Other Side uses default signs to communicate with us, we can also co-create our own unique language with them. This involves choosing specific objects, images, words, or phrases that have personal meaning to us.

Creating your language:

• Choose signs that are unusual or obscure, making them easier to recognize.
• Select signs that have a personal connection to you or your loved ones.
• Be specific in your requests, and trust that the universe will respond.

Strengthening connections. By co-creating a language with the Other Side, we strengthen the cords of light between us and make it easier to receive the signs that can bring change and meaning to our lives. This also brings joy to our Teams of Light.

4. Default Signs Are Everywhere

At first, the Other Side will use what I call default signs to communicate with us: objects, animals, or events that jolt us into seeing a meaning that might otherwise escape us.

Common messengers. Before we co-create our own language, the Other Side often uses default signs to try to connect with us. These are common objects, animals, or events that are easier for them to manipulate and put in our path.

Examples of default signs:

• Animals: Birds, butterflies, deer, ladybugs
• Objects: Coins, feathers, rainbows, balloons
• Events: Electrical disturbances, meaningful coincidences, numerical sequences

Energy manipulation. The Other Side manipulates energy fields to send us these signs, often utilizing the earth's magnetic field and the electromagnetic energy that all living beings generate. These signs are designed to grab our attention and jolt us into seeing a meaning that might otherwise escape us.

5. Dreams and Intuition Are Powerful Tools

The dream state is yet another way for our loved ones who have crossed to connect with us.

3-D dreams. When we sleep, our brains go offline, and we can achieve a state where we can more readily experience the spiritual energy of people who are part of our lives, both on earth and on the Other Side. These vivid, 3-D dreams are glimpses of the unseen reality of existence.

Intuitive pulls. We also have a guiding force that exists beyond our rational, logical mind—our intuition. These intuitive pulls are the way the Other Side tries to protect us from wrong or harmful decisions on earth. We need to heed these pulls, because our gut will never steer us wrong.

Trust your inner knowing. Both dreams and intuition are powerful tools that can help us connect with the Other Side and make better decisions in our lives. By paying attention to these inner messages, we can tap into a deeper source of wisdom and guidance.

6. Love and Forgiveness Are Essential

We are spiritual beings here to learn about connectivity and kindness.

Lessons in love. Earth is a school where we are all learning a collective lesson in love. We are spiritual beings here to learn about connectivity and kindness. When we trust in the reality of signs, we begin to learn this lesson more rapidly and in the most beautiful and fulfilling way.

Forgiveness heals. Our loved ones on the Other Side want us to forgive old hurts and heal old wounds. They want us to know that we are all connected, and that because we are, we can never really die.

Unconditional love. The love we hold in our hearts on this earth does not disappear when we cross—it travels with us and becomes a part of the massive, universal life force that is the collection of all of our love and light.

7. Surrender to the Universe's Plan

Sometimes it’s a blessing not to get what you want.

Blocked paths. Sometimes, the Other Side will put obstacles in the way of us getting what we think we want. This is because it's not actually in our best interest, and it won't help us navigate to our best and highest life path.

Trust the process. When we are constantly thwarted in our efforts to land a certain job or make a certain move, we should consider that there is a reason why we're not getting what we think we want. Sometimes, surrendering it to the universe and moving on is the most powerful thing we can do.

Higher purpose. Our Teams of Light are always trying to steer us toward the right decision. Sometimes, our intuition is one step ahead of us, and we need to trust that the universe has a plan for us, even when we can't see it.

8. Art, Gratitude, and Positive Thoughts Elevate Your Energy

We are all leaves on different branches of the same tree.

Energy is everything. We are all made of energy, and the energy we give off can have a real and profound impact on someone else’s energy and life. The way we carry and share our energy matters.

Art shifts energy. Art opens us up to new ideas, new possibilities, and new energies. It is a powerful way to connect with one another and with the universe.

Gratitude and positivity. The two highest and purest vibrations we can achieve as human beings are love and gratitude. By focusing on what we are grateful for and choosing positive thoughts, we can shift our energy and become more receptive to signs from the Other Side.

9. Manifesting Your Desires is Possible

When we put energy out into the universe, the universe responds.

Co-creation. We are always in a state of co-creating with the universe. By harnessing, owning, and directing our energy, we can create a future that is worthy of us.

Manifesting process:

• Get clear on what you want
• Visualize it as if it has already happened
• Write a letter to the universe expressing gratitude for it
• Share your manifest with others
• Let it go and trust the universe to make it happen

Power of intention. Manifesting is not about wishful thinking; it's about being open to and mindful of our conversation with the universe about our future. It's about embracing our desires as if they are already a clear and true reality.

10. Travel and Nature Shift Your Energy

Take a walk outside and look at the world around you.

New perspectives. When we travel, we drink in the energy of every new place in a way that can be transformational. Traveling infuses us with new energy and enhances our sense of being connected to the wider world.

Negative ions. Nature is a powerful source of negative ions, which can clear our energy and reinvigorate us. Being near water, trees, and sunlight can shift our energy and make us more receptive to signs from the Other Side.

Mindful exploration. When we travel, we should be mindful of how we feel. We should notice how the energy of the place affects our energy and stay awake to the ways it shifts our own.

11. Pets Are Messengers of Love

Death ends a life, not a relationship.

Unconditional love. The animals we loved so dearly here on earth are indeed on the Other Side. And once they’re there, they can—and do—send us amazing signs. They are our teachers, sharing profound lessons about unconditional love.

Continuing connections. When our pets cross, they remain connected to us in real and powerful ways, providing hope and comfort and support and, of course, everlasting love. They often use the very things they loved or were good at here on earth as a way to connect with us.

Signs from pets. Our pets on the Other Side want us to be happy. They will try anything to let us know they’re still with us, and they will often use their unique abilities to send us signs.

12. You Are a Connector and a Light Worker

We are all leaves on different branches of the same tree.

Interconnectedness. Our lives are all interconnected, and the things we do to and for one another have far-reaching consequences. We are all meant to help one another to heal and grow here on earth.

Light workers. We all have the potential to be light workers—people who are used by the Other Side to make things happen for others. We can all be connectors, facilitating the flow of ideas and connections and signs among others.

Share your light. By sharing our stories and our energy and our light with the world, we enrich our own lives and the lives of others. We are all part of a great tapestry of light and energy, and we are all meant to shine our truest light fully and bravely in this world.
