Colum McCann is a Dublin-born author whose acclaimed body of work includes six novels and three short story collections, all international bestsellers.
His novel Let the Great World Spin won the National Book Award in 2009, and his most recent novel, Apeirogon, became a bestseller across four continents.
His fiction has been published in over 40 languages.
Beyond writing, McCann co-founded the global nonprofit Narrative 4 and was nominated for a UN Humanitarian Award in 2023.
He teaches creative writing at Hunter College in New York, where he lives with his wife and three children.
