Esther Lightcap Meek
Esther Lightcap Meek holds a PhD from Temple University and serves as Professor of Philosophy emeritus at Geneva College.
She is a Makoto Fujimura Institute Scholar, member of The Polanyi Society, and Associate Fellow with the Kirby Laing Centre for Public Theology.
Meek has authored four books that translate philosophical insights into accessible everyday language.
Beyond writing, she actively engages diverse audiences through courses, workshops, and talks at high schools, colleges, graduate institutions, businesses, churches, and other organizations, making complex philosophical concepts understandable for ordinary people seeking to understand knowledge, knowing, and epistemology in practical ways.
