You have to do something to stand out nowadays.

Do the Opposite. When you see guys standing around and gawking at girls with their drinks to their chest, it motivates you to do the complete opposite. If they're going to stand around and fantasize about talking to that cute girl a few feet away, make it a reality for yourself.
