Key Takeaways

1. The Church Faces a Demonic Onslaught

I knew in my heart that the church had never faced anything like this before.

Evil army divisions. The church is under attack by a vast demonic army, with divisions specializing in Pride, Self-righteousness, Respectability, Selfish Ambition, and Jealousy. The Accuser of the Brethren leads this horde, aiming to bring division and destruction.

Weapons of Intimidation. The weapons of this evil army are named Intimidation (swords), Treachery (spears), and Accusations, Gossip, Slander, and Faultfinding (arrows). Scouts of Rejection, Bitterness, Impatience, Unforgiveness, and Lust precede the main attack, seeking openings to exploit.

Division is the Goal. The primary objective of this demonic force is to cause division at every level: between churches, congregations and pastors, husbands and wives, parents and children. This comprehensive assault seeks to dismantle the unity of the church, rendering it vulnerable to complete collapse.

2. Christians Can Be Deceived and Used by the Enemy

The most shocking part of this vision was that this horde was not riding on horses, but on Christians!

Enemy's Trojan Horse. The most alarming aspect of the vision is that the demonic horde rides on Christians who are well-dressed, respectable, and educated. These individuals have opened themselves to darkness, believing they are being used by God when, in reality, they are instruments of the enemy.

Vomit of Condemnation. Many Christians are prisoners of this army, wounded and guarded by demons of Fear. They are fed the vomit of Condemnation by vultures named Depression, which weakens them further. Shockingly, they accept this condemnation as truth from God.

Slime of Pride. Demons urinate and defecate a repulsive slime of pride and selfish ambition upon the Christians they ride, which the Christians mistake for the anointing of the Holy Spirit. This deception leads them to believe they are serving God while advancing the enemy's agenda.

3. Armor Up for Spiritual Warfare

Do not fear. I have an army too. You must now stand and fight, because there is no longer any place to hide from this war.

The Lord's Army. The Lord has an army, though greatly outnumbered, that must stand and fight for His Kingdom, truth, and the deceived. This army is initially ill-prepared, with many only partially armored and already wounded.

Armor and Weapons. The army's weapons include swords named the Word of God and arrows named for biblical truths. However, they struggle to use these weapons effectively without harming the Christians ridden by demons.

Faith, Hope, and Love. Three great angels named Faith, Hope, and Love stand behind the Lord's army, causing everyone's shields to grow. These virtues are essential for protection and strength in the face of the enemy's onslaught.

4. Truth is a Weapon, but Wisdom Guides Its Use

Another angel named Wisdom then appeared and directed us to fight from the mountain behind us.

Truth Arrows. The army attempts to use arrows of Truth to awaken the deceived Christians, but instead, the arrows enrage them and empower the demons. This highlights the need for discernment in wielding truth.

Mountain of Truth. An angel named Wisdom directs the army to fight from a mountain with ledges named after biblical truths. The higher they climb, the larger their shields and swords grow, and the fewer enemy arrows can reach them.

Tragic Mistake. Some on the lower levels pick up enemy arrows and shoot them back, resulting in demons of Bitterness and Rage perching on the arrows and poisoning the Christians. This underscores the danger of using the enemy's tactics.

5. Climbing Higher Leads to Greater Strength

The higher we climbed, the larger both our shields and our swords grew, and fewer of the enemy arrows could reach that position.

Unity of the Brethren. Reaching the level called "The Unity of the Brethren" provides safety from the enemy's arrows. However, the footing becomes more precarious with each new level, requiring greater faith and commitment.

Champions Emerge. Those who continue climbing grow in strength and character, becoming great champions capable of destroying many enemies. They learn to shoot and hit the demons without harming the Christians.

Word as Anchor. The voice of the Lord advises using the sword (Word of God) as an anchor to avoid falling. This symbolizes the importance of grounding oneself in truth to maintain stability and progress.

6. Love is the Ultimate Weapon and Motivation

Those who reach this level are entrusted with the powers of the age to come, but I must teach you how to use them.

Galatians Two Twenty. Reaching the level called "Galatians Two Twenty" brings a sense of peace and access to unlimited arrows of Hope. The sky above is filled with brightness and beauty, symbolizing spiritual clarity.

Faith, Hope, and Love. On this level, soldiers catch up to Faith, Hope, and Love, who transform their armor and swords, imbuing them with divine power. Love teaches them how to use these powers effectively.

Father's Unconditional Love. Reaching the Garden of God, soldiers find the Tree of Life and eat its fruit, which brings memories of love and a greater capacity to love everything and everyone, even enemies. This love becomes their daily bread.

7. Judgment Begins with the Household of God

This is Satan’s ultimate deception, and his ultimate power of destruction is released when he uses Christians to attack other Christians.

Charge to Return. The Lord Jesus charges the army to return to the battle for the sake of their brothers still bound and for the world He still loves. This command is both wonderful and terrible, requiring them to leave His manifest presence.

Greatest Weapon. The Lord emphasizes that the greatest weapon is the Father's love, manifested in Jesus. Walking in this love ensures they will never fail, and it must be their daily bread.

Worship in Spirit and Truth. The army erupts in spontaneous worship, beholding the glory of the Lord and entering a realm of emotion they had never experienced. This worship reveals more of His glory and power.

8. Humility is Essential for Spiritual Authority

That is the highest rank in the kingdom.

The Mantle of Humility. Descending the mountain, the narrator is given a plain mantel to wear, which Wisdom identifies as humility. Without it, he cannot see the enemy's ambush, highlighting the importance of humility for spiritual discernment.

Pride's Deception. Warriors who advance without the cloak of humility are struck by arrows of pride, weakening them and leading to their capture by the enemy division of Strong Delusion. This underscores the vulnerability of those who become prideful after great victories.

Grace and Safety. The Lord is closer to the homeless than to princes, and true strength comes from walking in God's grace, which He gives to the humble. The mantle of humility protects against enemy weapons, as nothing can overpower His grace.

9. Prophetic Vision is Crucial for Discernment

We are the hidden prophets who have been kept for this hour.

The Eagles Arrive. Great white eagles, representing hidden prophets kept for this hour, arrive on the scene. They are the eyes of those with divinely powerful weapons, knowing all that the Lord is doing and all that the enemy is planning.

The Heart of the Eagle. By talking to the eagle, the narrator begins to think like the eagle, gaining insight into the eagle's heart and purpose. The eagles awaken and teach others to use their gifts, ensuring sure communication and minimizing losses.

The Wind of the Spirit. The eagles stir up a cool, refreshing breeze that flows over the wounded, bringing strength and clarity of mind. This breeze represents the Holy Spirit, who directs the eagles and brings about unity for the battles ahead.

10. The Journey Requires Both Action and Contemplation

You must go on!

Treasures of Heaven. Entering a door at the base of the mountain, the narrator finds a room filled with gold, silver, precious stones, and countless angels. These treasures represent the riches of salvation and the heavenly realm.

The Terrible Door. Among the inviting doors, there is a "terrible door" representing the Judgment Seat of Christ. This door is dark and fearful, but it leads to the greatest wisdom and authority.

Grace and Truth. The journey involves both adoring the Lord in the glory of His love and honoring Him with fear and respect. True wisdom knows the times and seasons of God, balancing grace and truth.

11. The Power of Unity and Worship in Spiritual Warfare

You enter His gates with thanksgiving, His courts with praise.

Thanksgiving and Praise. Descending the mountain, the narrator finds the level of "Thanksgiving and Praise," where the enemy's attacks are less intense. This level is filled with faithful soldiers who have endured much and remained cheerful.

Reality Discovered. As soldiers who have been to the top descend to relieve those on the lower levels, each level begins to shine with glory. The whole mountain takes on the feel of the Garden, and true worship brings one into His presence.

The Deadly Trap. The enemy division of Pride waits to ambush those who venture from the mountain without the cloak of humility. This highlights the importance of staying close to Wisdom and inquiring of the Lord before making major decisions.

12. The Call to a Higher Standard of Discipleship

I will never leave you or forsake you.

The Mantle of Grace. The angels bow to those wearing the mantle of humility, recognizing it as the highest rank in the kingdom. This mantle represents the grace of God, which is the greatest power.

The Return of the Eagles. The great white eagles return, representing hidden prophets kept for this hour. They are the eyes of those with divinely powerful weapons, knowing all that the Lord is doing and all that the enemy is planning.

The Wounded Heart of the King. The eagle emphasizes that the army is not complete until the whole body is restored. Even in the most glorious worship, there is an emptiness until all are one, because the King also feels it.
